We’ve put this kit together specifically for railway modellers, selecting four complementary weathering products from MIG Ammo that can be used to add realistic rust, oil, dirt and grime to track, ballast and the surrounding trackside.
Whether you’re weathering freshly laid track or adding another layer of detail to an established layout, the kit gives you a useful selection of colours and effects without having to work out which individual products to buy.
The kit includes:
- MIGR2306 Trackside Rust Pigment - ideal for adding dry rust tones to rails, chairs and trackside details
- MIGR2206 Fresh Oil Staining Wash - creates darker oily deposits and staining around areas where locomotives regularly stand or pass
- MIGR2000 Trackside Wash - adds general dirt, grime and weathering around the railway
- MIGR2002 Bare Earth Wash - useful for earth, ballast edges, trackside areas and blending the railway into the surrounding scenery
The different washes and pigment can be used individually or layered together to build up more varied and convincing weathering.
Suitable for OO, N, TT120, O gauge and other scales, with the amount and intensity of weathering simply adjusted to suit your model.
