The RAILstuff 3mm Cork Track Underlay Roll (610 × 915 mm / 3ft × 2ft) is a practical and effective solution for improving both the appearance and performance of your model railway trackwork. Made from durable cork, this underlay helps reduce running noise while providing a slightly raised, realistic trackbed profile that mirrors real-world railway construction.
At 3 mm thick, the cork is easy to cut and shape using a craft knife, making it ideal for straight track, curves, points and sidings. It can be fixed in place with PVA or contact adhesive and works equally well on plywood, MDF or foam boards. Once laid, ballast can be applied directly on top for a neat, professional finish.
Supplied as a single roll measuring 610 × 915 mm (3ft × 2ft), this cork underlay is suitable for OO gauge, HO gauge and other similar scales, making it a versatile choice for layouts, test tracks and scenic boards.
